On May 06, 2023 evening, the Sun of Gurukul Premier league (GPL-12 Tennis Ball) again came to the horizon of world of cricket with the grand opening ceremony at 7 pm on the terrestrial land of SGVP.
Started with the inspiration of Sadguruvarya Shatri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami, this is the twelth successful season of Gurukul Premier league, organized by SGVP Surya Sports Academy.
In the auspicious presence of Param Pujya Kothari Shree Dharmanandandasji Swami - Saurashtra Ranji Team Left Arm leg Spinner, honorable dignitaries - Mr. Kaushikbhai Patel (Title Sponsor GPL - 12 & Heaven Group Owner), Mr. Rikin Patel (The Clock Island - Owner)And other guests, sponsors and reverend saints, Gurukul Premier League, GPL -12, All India Open Night Cricket Tournament was inaugurated in the great enthusiastic atmosphere.
Sadguruvarya Shatri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami, from USA, also graced the occasion and inspired the players and participants for the great performance with sportsmanship. Healthy competition creates healthy body as well as mind and it builds a strong nation.
In this Tennis ball category, 36 teams (24 plate group teams & 12 Elite group teams) will play on league cum knock-out basis. In tennis ball category, 124 cricket teams from Gujarat & all over India will participate.
Over Rs. Fifteen lakhs prizes & Champion trophy, Runner up Trophy, medals and gifts will be distributed to winner teams, Best baller, Best batsman, man of the series and best individual performers.
over 2500+ cricketers of 150+ cricket teams from Delhi (UP), Rewa (Indore-MP), Vishakhapattam, Chennai (Tamilnadu), Rajasthan, Mumbai (Maharashtra) and major cities of Gujarat state will display their talent on turf/Astro turf wicket in leather ball & tennis ball categories in lush green high mast lit ground for 78 days. Many Ranji trophy & IPL players will also participate in this mega cricket tournament.

As the heavenly Sun was going to set on 24th Mar, 2018, the Sun of Gurukul Premier league again came to the horizon of world of cricket with the grand opening ceremony at 8 pm on the terrestrial land of SGVP. In the auspicious presence of holistic presence of P.P. Purani Shri Balkrishnadasji Swami, Vice President, SGVP and reverend saints, Shri Bimal Jadeja, Ex. Saurastra Ranji Captain, Shri Sudhir Tanna, Ex. Saurastra Ranji Captain, Mr. Harvik Desai, U-19 India World Cup-2018 Team Player, Gurukul Premier League, GPL -8, All India Open Night Cricket Tournament was open. SGVP Surya Sports Academy’s GPL - 8, All India Open Night Cricket Tournament (Tennis Ball) concluded at the onset of pleasant evening of 10th June, 18 in the auspicious presence of Pujya Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami, Pujya Dharmvatsaldasji Swami, Shree Vishrambhai Patel (Chairman-Vijay Engineering & contractor, Seychelles), Honourable Shree Pursottam Rupala (Union Minister Of State for Panchayati Raj Agriculture & Farmars Welfare), Shree Bharatbhai Dudhiya (Joint Secretary, GCA), Shree Umesh Pathak (Income Tax-Sports selector), Shree Bhimjibhai Gopalbhai Varsani - Nairobi (Kenya), Shree J B Solanki (A'bad), Shree Vishal Lather (International Kabbadi Player), Shree Priyank Panchal (Gujarat Ranji Player) in SGVP cricket ground.
L K STAR - RAJKOT clinched the awesome GPL - 8 trophy after defeating DEV XI MATHERHOOD HOSPITAL – A’BAD man of the match declared by Hitendra Jadeja he took 47* runs and Winner team received cash prize of Rs. 3,00,000/- + Trophy + Gift while the runners up received the cash prize of Rs. 1,51,000/- + Trophy + Gift. Arjun Jadeja-Dev XI Motherhood Hospital was adjusted the Man of the Series in tennis ball category he received a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/- + Trophy + Gift, Vishnu Solanki-Ambaji Tiger-Baroda and Suresh Tamil-L K Star - Rajkot were declared best batsman and best bowler respectively. Both received the cash prize of Rs. 15,000/- + Trophy + Gift.

200+ teams 78 Days Cricket Carnival
GPL 7 – Mega cricket tournament organized by SGVP Surya Sports Academy during March 24 to June 9, 2017.
In all 128 cricket teams participated in this Tennis Ball Category day night cricket tournament on well-equipped cricket ground.
In the final match, team ManSarovar CC defeated Saibaba Eleven by nine wickets and won the champion trophy along with cash prize of Rs. 2,51,000/- . Saibaba Eleven team awarded with Runner up Trophy and 1,25,000/- cash prize. Moreover, Man of the Series awarded with trophy & cash prize Rs. 25,000/-, while Beat Baller and Beat Batsman awarded with trophy & cash prize of Rs. 15,000/- each.
Closing ceremony was held in the holy presence of Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami and honourable guests Mr. Mohan Zha (ADGP, Gujarat State), Mr. Kaushal Patel (Director, Vijay Construction, Seychelles – Sponsor of the Tournament), Mr. Ashwinsinh Padhiyar (ACP, Ahmedabad City), Mr. Devanshu Gandhi (Director, Vadilal Ice-cream – Co-sponsor of the Tournament), Mr. Raja Muni Tamrakar (Dy. GM, Retail Indian Oil, Ahmedabad).
In co-occurring Super 7 Corporate league cricket tournament, Sadbhav Engineer team defeated ICICI team and won the inner trophy.
